Someone needs to block the advertisers off the reading on line discussion forum.

I was cheered by the letter in today’s Guardian by Keith Chambers, pointing out how other countries literacy scores have risen while England’s have sunk since the introduction of the Literacy Hour. 

Our teachers need to be treated as professionals, not low level military recruits.
