Volunteering to teach overseas

The International Reading Association (IRA) is looking for volunteers to provide professional development in pedagogy (language and content areas; primary and secondary level), assessment, school administration, and other areas. Immediate projects are in: • Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania (diagnostic teaching • Nigeria (Active learning in multilingual classrooms) • Macedonia (Secondary education) • Pakistan (Education Sector Reform Action Plan) There are also a number of projects in Latin America, the Middle East, and other parts of Africa and Asia.
