WINNERS ANNOUNCED UKLA Children’s Book Award

Authors, publishers, teachers and conference participants met together at a wine reception on July 9th for the announcement of the award winners. At the wine reception at University of Greenwich Jack Ream and Sian Hayden (teachers) announced the award winners, and Nikki Gamble spoke about all the books on the shortlists (below) and interviewed award winner Marcia Williams . She was delighted: “This is my first prize since a gymkana at junior school!”
