Literacy News is the newsletter of the Association and is sent to members three times a year. There are regular columns on UKLA events, children’s literature, classroom practice, international opportunities and a brief review of recent research. In addition, the newsletter lets members know about the Association’s meetings at national level with policy making bodies such as QCA, the TDA and the Primary National Strategy. Our President has a column where Association, national and international perspectives are considered in the light of UKLA’s considerable experience of literacy learning issues. Members receive the latest issue free.
