UKLA Student Research Prize

UKLA celebrates research and scholarship in literacy education. Each year we shortlist and nominate two candidates for outstanding dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The prizes are presented at the annual UKLA International Conference. Dissertations on any aspect of literacy education are eligible for consideration. Studies using any research approach (ethnographic, experimental, historical, survey, etc.) are encouraged. Each study is assessed in the light of this approach, the scholarly qualification of its report, and its significant contributions to knowledge within the literacy field.

The deadline for submission is November 1st. Details of the student research prizes and application form can be downloaded below. The prizes for 2011, presented at the gala dinner of the international conference, were given to Clementine Beauvais and Mihika Shah-Wundenberg.
