This half-day event gives practical advice and suggestions on bringing stories to life in the classroom and how to harness the excitement generated through story telling.

Dr Geoff Fox: Story telling in the classroom
For many years, Geoff Fox taught in the School of Education at Exeter University. He has also worked and told stories with teachers and student teachers around the world from Vancouver to Sydney and from Outer Mongolia to Brazil. 

Belinda Crowhurst: Using story in the classroom and beyond
Belinda Crowhurst is currently a literacy subject leader as well as a Leading Literacy Teacher for Plymouth Local Authority. She has recently worked as a literacy consultant, developing ‘Talk for Writing’ expertise within the Local Authority.
